NaNoWriMo Recap

Hi Friends! Apologies for the delay. I've been.. you know, babying a baby.

Despite being so busy/sleep deprived/mom-ed out, I did finish NaNoWriMo!

I'm really proud of myself for taking time to write everyday, even if it was a just a little (especially in the middle there). It also gave me an escuse to meet up with a friend every week and have some time without the baby. I am loving being a mom, but there is something exhuasting about being needed 99% of the time. She also is not the best at sleeping without help, so it's sometimes difficult. BUT, I still am making sure that I make time for myself.

Anyway, to meet my goal I wrote 5k words on the last day! I didn't finish the story - I made it about 60% of the way through, but I'm going to be working on it in the new year. I'm taking a break this month and then planning on returning to it in January. Once I have the beginning chapters in a good place, I'll be posting them here on the website, so look for that!
